Rational Catalan combinatorics

Edited by Drew Armstrong and Nathan Williams

D. Armstrong, S. Griffeth, V. Reiner, and M. Vazirani arranged for three groups of mathematicians to spend the week of December 16th at the American Institute of Mathematics for a workshop on Rational Catalan Combinatorics. The three areas of study these mathematicians represented were:
  1. Catalan Combinatorics and Reflection Groups;
  2. Symmetric Functions, Macdonald Polynomials, and Diagonal Harmonics; and
  3. Rational Cherednik algebras.
What follows is a summary of the two moderated problem sessions from the workshop. The brave moderators who led these sessions were N. Reading and E. Niece.
