2. Examples of Open-Source Projects that Did and Did Not Sustain Themselves

Problem 2.1.
This group aims to find examples of open-source project groups that did and did not succeed at long-term sustainability. The concrete goal is to discover principles that underlie the success of an open-source project. In addition, this group has the sub-objective of studying the ways in which projects overlap and have been connected, and ways in which that has created success and issues for the communities that use these tools.
